Busy. Busy. Busy.

Our lives have been a little extra crazy lately, but we are thankful for it!! Here are a few things that have been occupying our time lately:

Anna's parents and sister, Kelly came for a quick visit a few weeks ago and we have a fantastic time with them! We were too busy to take any pictures, however.

Derrick's dad came as well just this last week. He is actually still up here in the midwest, and is spending time with Derrick's grandparents. We did get a few pictures with him!

We've celebrated our Fellowsyhip of Grace's one year anniversary! It was a great weekend of celebration and memories. Last year at this time, we had no idea what to expect in the first year. We are now growing, starting small groups, and have an amazing church family. One of the things we were most concerned with leaving, Northland (our first church here in KC) was leaving the young married group. We truly enjoyed and appreciated all of those couples and really felt there was a lot of us to gain and learn from being with those at the same stage in live as we were, we have now got a great number of young married couples at FOG that we love being with!!

It's so exciting. Our children's ministries are also growing and volunteers are starting to fall into place, slowly but surely. We are reminded of this verse as we are beginning our second year as a church and a couple serving together in ministries: "All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ." Ephesians 1:3 We have learned so much from being a part of such a successful church plant and are truly excited to see what God has in store for us in the future. We are starting small groups this week Derrick is leading one at our house called Foundations which is an introduction to Christianity.

School/Work:


Anna's school is still a bit stressful but she is finding ways to laugh about it and enjoy it! She really feels God has placed her there.

Derrick is still making it through working at UPS early every morning, and is trying to enjoy it! He is enjoying classes and is learning a lot!
