Addilyn is really starting to amaze with with her 'pretend' skills. I had no idea she'd be starting this already!
This week, Addilyn has started telling me when she has a dirty diaper by holding her nose and saying "UUU" (not all the time-she's not that advanced!). The U stands for PU-what I always say when she's dirty. So, in addition to that-she's started telling me when her baby dolls have dirty diapers. Before the picture below, Addilyn held her and her baby doll's nose saying "UUUU" brought the babies upstairs, laid them on the foot rest, and began trying to get her (just the little one) diaper off. After she pulled on their clothes a little, she made the sign for washing hands, and threw the pretend diaper away in the diaper pail. By the time I got to taking a picture, she had already moved onto the headband on the baby's head.

Addilyn has also begun putting lotion on us. She's actually been doing this for awhile-but she'd always get the lotion bottle and pretend to put it on us. Somehow, the pretend lotion has moved into this flower. She puts her little hands in there and then rubs it on our legs, toes, or whatever body part we ask (this week she even knew Daddy's knee!). Pretty darn adorable if you ask me.
