It has been snowy, cold, and snowy here lately. This Momma is slowly but surely getting over some of this morning sickness mess and REFUSES to be cold anymore than necessary. So, even though we were about to try to get out of the house before the next snow, once we saw the snow coming down-we decided to opt for cupcakes instead. First we mixed the batter and icing.
Did you know Angel Food cake batter is GROSS?! It is!
Addilyn wasted no time trying the icing though.
Then, Mommy in one of her less-smart moments got Addilyn all showered and cleaned since she was covered in icing...Only to decorate!
Apparently, the best way to use sprinkles is to dump them all out so you can see what you're working with.
Sometimes a layer of sprinkles under the icing gives it some extra flavor!
Adding the blue sugar sprinkles may not have been the best idea...
But they sure look pretty.

Have I ever mentioned I really, truly love being a mom? Cause it's pretty fantastic.
