My loves.

These two are definitely the loves of my life.
Derrick and I haven't ever been big VDay celebraters-flowers and chocolates are more expensive, and restaurants are crowded (we're cheap and introverted, what can I say.). But, we do love each other for sure. We focused on each other's love languages and did things rather than bought things (neither of our love languages are gift giving) to make sure we felt loved. I washed, dried, folded, and put away ALL our laundry and made/cleaned up dinner on VDay. I know it sounds silly, but Derrick love language is service. Me doing things for him makes him feel loved. And, it drives him crazy that laundry usually takes me sooo long. :) Derrick spent the evening just with Addi and I, he avoided his computer and phone as much as possible and was just with us. And, we're going on a date on Saturday (and having one of our youth group kids babysit for the first time ever!)! My primary love languages are time and touch. :)
This little bit's love language is...ummm...chocolate and time. :) So, that's what we did. We hung out all day, went out to eat for lunch, complete with chocolate ice cream for dessert. When Daddy got home, they wrestled, read books, played with babies, and built towers.
She was a happy girl.
