My little talker

Addilyn's really, really learning to share what she's thinking and wants with words to us each and everyday. It's amazing how much she talks. But, she's still so cautious with who, what, and where she says and does things. If she doesn't know a person well or isn't completely comfortable in a situation-you may never hear her say a word or leave Mommy's side. It's SO different than she is with just us (or the few she's especially comfortable with) but I do love it. When it's just us, she talks NON-STOP. She runs, jumps, and climbs like any other crazy 2 year old. She says no and throws fits because she understands exactly what she wants.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that Addilyn knows who ALL of her aunts and uncles are and that they are some of those people she's extra comfortable with. She knows who 'goes with' who, even down to the dogs. She prays for each of you every night with her Daddy. I'm amazed (even though it makes me a little sad) that she understands that she has to travel to see any of her grandparents or aunts/uncles. She knows they don't live here but still thinks of everyone all the time. Here's a few conversations we've had lately.

A few nights ago, in the middle of dinner, she started this...

"Addi see Nannie, Pop? Addi go choo-choo with Da, Hay-he, Baby Luce and see Nannie Pop. Nannie Pop give Addi big hug. 'Den Addi see Ha dance. See Ma. No see Cha-work with friends. Ange 'der too. Peas, Mommy. Addi see Nannie, Pop, Da, Hay-he, Baby Luce, Ha, Ange, Ma, Cha, Ralph? Addi ride Choo-choo to Nannie Pop?"

all without stopping. I tried to get it on video, but then (of course) she stopped instantly.

Then yesterday after hearing Grandma and Papa talk on skype (on Sunday) about seeing her and Candace and Justin soon...

"Addi see His, Jus, Tay?"

"In a few days baby..."

"NO MOMMY!! Addi see His, Jus, Tay RIGHT NOW."

"We can't right now Addi, in a few days we will go."

"Right now, Mommy!! See His, Jus, Tay right now. See Mama and Papa too?"

"They are all working right now Addi, we'll go soon we they can play."

"His, Jus, Tay, Mama, Papa work right now? We see dem pay in a little bit?"
