Can you guess what we're up to this week?
The quality of the video is terrible, I know...but you get the point!
Can you tell what she's saying?
"Panties, Panties, Panties!"
This was one of the few times this week she actually wore underwear. She prefers to go commando. She is actually doing amazingly well! There was absolutely NOTHING in me that was going to try to potty-train my barely two year old until Monday when she told me she wanted to go pee-pee and poo-poo in the potty. I figure if she's decided she's ready, I can't tell her no! Yesterday was our first full day of potty training and Addilyn only had two accidents (she's totally not ready during sleeping times or right when she wakes up, so I'm not counting that)! She even took her own diaper off and went to the potty at VBS last night!! So, I guess it's a go. At least for now. I'm not convinced it's going to last, but we'll celebrate it today.
My girl is TOO BIG. Good thing we've got a new, tiny, snuggly baby coming otherwise I might be shedding a LOT more tears...
Along with deciding she was ready to potty train, Addilyn decided this week that she prefers showers to baths and wants to do it "By Addi-self."
AND, she won't let me call her 'baby' anymore.
"Addi no baby. Baby boy and Baby Luce baby. Addi no baby. Addi little girl. Addi Mommy's Addi-girl."
Ok, my Addi-girl. I love you and even if I don't say baby anymore, I will always think it in my head, I'm sure. I'm so proud of you and how big you're getting. You're a pretty amazing kid, I'm so blessed to get to spend everyday with you, even when you go potty in my shoe.
