Our church had a baby shower for us to help celebrate Baby Boy coming this summer! We are blessed to have so many people who love us (and our kids!)! It was such a great morning to relax with friends and look forward to the future.
It was a necessity shower since we already have most of the big stuff. So, we got lots of soap, lotion, and diapers! It's so exciting to not need to go buy any of that! But, we did get a few cute outfits and fun things too! Like this:
35 weeks
With Addilyn, as probably most people are with their first, I felt like everything was about her coming, what she's doing and how she's growing. It's still like that in so many ways. Like, I'm still praying for my guy everytime I feel him move in my belly and love him more than I can explain already. But, there's just not the time to just sit and dream of him quite as much. It's just not quite as exciting and no one is waiting on the edge of their seats...So, the shower and time to ONLY celebrate our little guy coming into the world was pretty awesome. We so appreciate our church being willing to do that for us!
