Changes for Addi

In my 'happy 36th week of pregnancy' email this week, there was a part about preparing older siblings. It said that to best prepare your toddler for a younger sibling coming to not change their schedule/life anymore for the rest of the pregnancy. Specifically, not to try to start potty training or sleeping in a 'big' bed. Well, good thing I'm still only 35 weeks until Thursday, since we're doing both this week! ;)
We are diaper free this week (except for sleeping). We've been doing this on and off for about 2 weeks now, but our schedules have been nuts so we haven't gotten to focus on it consistently yet. Yesterday was our first full day of potty training. She only had ONE accident ALL DAY! SO, So proud of her! She was naked most of the time though...

On Father's Day, we decided to (finally) put Addilyn's letters up in her big girl room! As soon as she saw those on the wall, she wanted to sleep there. I know it sounds crazy to do both of these 'toddler milestones' at once...but, when my girl is ready to do something, she's ready. Not a moment before and not a moment after. So, we're going with it.

Notice the carefully cropped pictures of helping Daddy...Little Miss Nakedpants makes it hard to put appropriate pictures up!
That bed sure makes her look tiny...

Completely unrelated picture.
A friend from church had brought us some winter shoes for Addilyn that their daughter had grown out of. Addilyn had to 'see boots fit' right away. Thankfully, she was ok to take them off when we went out to eat since 'snow no coming'.

Winter Boots and Summer Dress-a great look, don't you think?
