This picture explains our week fairly well.
But, there have been some pretty great glimmers of light this week too!
- The trees are changing and Addilyn even notices (and LOVES) it this year! "Mommy! Mommy! Look! Trees so pretty!" "Mommy, look my side! My side has yellow tree! Red tree! Green tree no pretty yet."
- Josiah's spent a lot of the week in jammies or onesies. And, even though there are so many seriously cute baby clothes, nothing is quite as fantastic as a baby in jammies.
- I've gotten lots of snuggle time in.
- When Josiah is feeling good, he's all smiles!
- I'm reminded how amazingly blessed and thankful I am that I get to stay home with my kids. The stress of sick kids is just magnified when you have to figure out when it's ok to go to the babysitter or how many days off you have to use. Even though they're cranky and don't feel good, there's no where else I'd rather be. Except maybe living closer to family...or on a 20 minute escape to go get a white chocolate pumpkin spice latte.
- Addilyn wants to learn a little more everyday. Example: Our breakfast conversation this morning... "When I get big, I have big teeth. How 'dat happen, Mommy?"
