10 pictures on the 10th, finding beauty in everyday moments.
Lots of people are putting things they are thankful for every day this month up on their blogs or facebook-here's my version. 10 (or more) things I was thankful for in one day.
I'm thankful for my kids Aunts and Uncles that love them, pray for them, and teach them ridiculous things.
"Mommy, you 'ike sea food?" (thanks a lot Aunt Mags)
I'm thankful that I'm not missing any of this little guy growing and changing. Not even when he's sick. I LOVE that I get to be home with both my kids all day, every day.
This face mixed with the triage nurse on the phone telling me how serious his cough sounded, then listing all the things that 'it wouldn't surprise me if __ happened' and if they do, go to the ER might have made this Momma freak out for a little bit.
Yep. I'm even (sort of) thankful for laundry. This week, it's overwhelmed me and not been done well. But, it means we've always got clothes to keep us warm and covered.
I'm thankful for all the new things Josiah can do. He's talking so much more, laughing, rolling over (mostly in his sleep), grabbing at toys and everything else he can get his hands on, and recognizing all of us. Now, if we could go back to the 'old' thing of sleep... ;) Sleep deprived or not, he's a true blessing from God.
I'm SO thankful for my girl and all the wonderful things she can do. In this picture alone I see: My girl who is starting to get better at playing by herself, in her own room. Addilyn's sense of 'pretend' emerging-she's taking a nap with her baby after she read it a book, changed it's diaper, and fed it. She's the most gorgeous, amazing, spirited girl, ever.
I'm thankful for a baby who is feeling better, in just a few hours!!
And, for pinterest-see my first pinterest craft back there? ;)
Look at that smile. Adorable. I love you little man.
I'm thankful to be living in a country that going to the doctor isn't a big deal and can be done to make sure it's just a cold bothering my baby.
This picture also makes me thankful for the love between my kids. You can see it in their eyes when they look at each other-it's an amazing thing to witness.
It also makes me thankful for a praying family who were all praying Josiah would start feeling better after he started wheezing and breathing crazy fast in the morning. Even if he was totally fine by the time we went to the doc and she thought I was crazy... ;)
I'm thankful for messes because that means my kid is learning, growing, and having fun.
I may have overcooked the homemade finger paint (thanks again, pinterest) which creates more of a playdough sensation for my girl
I'm amazingly thankful for this guy. The best husband and Daddy you could ask for. Thanks for loving us so well! I LOVE living life with you, couldn't have even dreamed up a better partner for our life together.
I'm also thankful for food out after a long day so our house didn't have to get even messier.
I'm thankful for my kids grandparents- who take the time to skype, mail them fun things, and make sure my kids know they are loved, even from far away. (Thanks Grandma and Papa for the pens and stickers, Addilyn thinks they are pretty awesome. )
