10 on the 10th

I've seen in a few blogs lately where people take a picture every hour, for 10 consecutive hours, on the 10th of every month. I did a little research and it was actually started by a mom who was overwhelmed and exhausted with her days of two kids (one of which being an infant) and no adults and needed to see reminders of beauty and Christ's love in the day. I thought that was a pretty awesome idea-not that I'm feeling overwhelmed or exhausted these days, now that the extreme nausea has gone, it's significantly better around here! But, still a good thought. We always need reminders of beauty in our day to day lives. So, here's our first attempt at 10 on the 10th.

8am: Happy and Ready to start the day.
She's smiling so big because she's looking at Daddy.
9am: Sesame Street
Today she got to watch Abby and Elmo from Mommy's bed so Mommy could vacuum and clean upstairs! She lasts about 15 minutes if I'm not sitting next to her, but she did a good job going back and forth and helping me clean! And, no it wasn't particularly warm today-she just requested "clothes no pants". So, we opted for a dress.

10am: Cookies.
A girl's got to have some b-day cookies. Especially one who doesn't really seem to like cake that much. ;) I think she's like Mommy and would just assume eat the dough instead of baking the cookie.
Notice the pants? "Addi cold, Mommy. Purple pants."
11am: Mac and Cheese
Addilyn ate her very favorite food, Mommy vacuumed.
Usually we do eat lunch together, but she was cranky and hungry early, I just wasn't hungry yet. So, I vacuumed instead.
12: Playdough!
Yikes, Mommy-work on that posture!
And, yes, I'm still in my pj's-if the entire day consists of cleaning, there is no point to putting on clothes I don't want bleached until after the bleaching is done.

1pm: Naptime for Addi, Cleaning time for Mommy
After making cookies, mac and cheese, dinner, and Addi's toys in there (always close to Mommy) things got a little messy!
2pm: CLEAN!
Anyone else feel like they clean their kitchen 10 times a day? I mean seriously...
But, this time I scrubbed EVERYTHING, vacuumed, and made brownies! At least I felt productive!
3pm:I missed.
Addilyn woke up from her nap too early and I fell asleep with her snuggling/rocking her back to sleep. It was fantastic. Will I still be able to do that with her once Baby Boy comes??

4pm: Wake up
Nap time wake ups almost always include snuggles with Mommy (and her hair) and a cup of milk.
Notice the clean/wet hair?! Yep!! Mommy even got a shower during nap time.

5pm: Time-Out
Addilyn's trying to leave time-out in this pic. It's not a great picture, I know. But I didn't want her to know I was taking a picture of her in trouble-she was in there for drawing on the table and in the candle (the candle wasn't lit, I promise!). She did make some cute cards though...
5:30pm: Daddy comes home!
Yeah, yeah. I added one. Only because it's the very best time of the day and I had to make up for the one we slept through. ;)
6ish: Dinner clean up.
This kid LOVES to wash her hands.
Usually our days are a little more interesting and include leaving the house, but today was Thursday, and on Thursdays we have small group (well, ours is more like 30 people) and I have to get the house clean!
Tomorrow is our girl's birthday! 2 years old.
