Our girl is TWO. Two, really?! Wow-she sure is amazing. Thank you, Jesus for such a wonderful little blessing!
Addilyn's birthday started out at the zoo with her friend Kaylee! I'm pretty sure she could have stayed there watching that swimming polar bear for hours. She loved when it got up close to the glass!
SO NICE!
Addilyn was so excited to get to look out her window in the Sonic drive-thru.
Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like Sonic ice.
Especially when it's dumped all over the floor (covering 3 pairs of socks and shoes).

In the evening, we had a meeting for church and Mrs. Julie was nice enough to get cupcakes and candles to help Addilyn feel extra special. God always throws in those little reminders that we really do have family here, just when Mommy needs to see it. There is really no where else I would have rather been on the night of my daughter's birthday. We were with people who love her and were SO excited to get to celebrate the big TWO with her.

She never knew we were there for a meeting-just an incredibly fun play time at Pastor Michael and Mrs. Julie's with her friend Brennan!
Perfect end to a great day-Chocolate covered granola bar at 9:30pm.

Saturday: Birthday Date with Daddy!
After they got home, Addilyn helped Daddy clean out the garage.

We decided since the weather was nice, we needed to take advantage of it (esp since we're getting SNOW tonight, grrr)
Mommy (and bigger by the day baby boy!) and Addi starting out on the walk.
Addilyn, Daddy, and the deer
Talking to Daddy about the waterfall.
I LOVE how much she talks and makes sense of things!
When we were done with our walk, Addilyn was walking around saying "find slide." So, of course we had to find a slide for our girl to play in and because it was her bday weekend, we had to get ice cream too (definitely her dessert of choice)-Mommy just forgot to take her camera out of the car for those two times.
Big 2year olds need BIG GIRL rooms.
