I had a baby shower at work, it is overwhelming to think of how many people truly care for and love Derrick and I (and our little coming baby). We are so blessed. And, I turned 25 this week, and can't help but thinking how much more amazing my 25th year will be with this new little one! We're getting so excited!!!!!!
It seems to be popular belief that I have now 'dropped'. I can't feel too much of a difference, other than that I have been completely starving since Thursday and I can breathe a little better (but my cold has come back, so that's not quite as evident anymore). According to my dad (by the way, it is completely awesome to have a father who I can call with all these crazy pregnancy questions), dropping in a first pregnancy is typically a sign that the baby is about a month away!! But, he also did warn that I should have my bag packed just in case this baby wanted to come a little earlier!
We seem to do at least a little something to prepare for the baby every weekend. This weekend consisted of more baby laundry, putting curtains up, a little more organizing, and a shopping trip to get a few of the remaining essentials. We've been so blessed by those who love us, we had very few things left to buy after the showers and the excitement of our parents.
