Friday afternoon brought a great come back for our kids. Hallelujah! So, we went right off to seeing the beautiful fall colors that are starting to take over.
Mommy and Addi
Daddy with his kiddos.
Then, on Saturday morning, the kids and I headed to our only (so far) true Kansas City tradition. The Gladfest parade. We've gone every year we've lived here and I love it. It makes me feel back in Washington with all the parades I grew up watching.
Josiah was fussy most of the time and I couldn't figure out why...now I look at this picture and totally understand. We'll sit in the shade next year Buddy. Addilyn became quite the candy collector. She was able to spot people who were bringing her candy and just open her bag up for them. ;)
Daddy was busy with meetings during the parade. Poor guy tried to get to us but by then the roads were all blocked off and it was impossible. But, he was home ready to play when we got home!
Sunday was the 5 year anniversary of our church, Fellowship of Grace.
It's amazing to think how much our (and SO many other peoples) lives have changes in those 5 years. It's also amazing at how little time I had to take pictures of the festivities while chasing after two kids!
So, here's all you get:
A picture of Addilyn ready to eat.
And one of Josiah getting loved on by some of our youth kids.
