When I was little, we made Christmas cookies every year with my mom and again with my grandma. Even though my kids do not have Grandmas close, I still want them to have memories of making Christmas cookies. So, this year we found all the dairy alternatives we could find and made cookies. (Mom, you're right-cookies made with crisco just aren't as good as with butter...but I can eat them. ;) ) Then we invited some youth kids over to help us out.
