New Years Day we woke up to very bright eyed and bushy tailed children before 5am. :) Josiah eventually fell back asleep (around 630ish) but Addilyn was ready to go and so was Baby Lucy. So we went into Lucy's room for some playtime before we woke everyone else up.
Then we sent the cute ones in to do the dirty work of waking everyone up. They'd both been happily squealing and playing all morning, so we hoped they'd do that right by the door and we'd be good. But, they just sat there silently.
Eventually, they were loud enough to get even the sleepiest family members awake.
Pleased with their results.
We then went downstairs to open presents. This is the first thing Addilyn opened. She had a hard time leaving it to open anything else. She LOVES it. She'll even play by herself in her own room, with it now.
Josiah eventually woke up and joined the fun.
I'm pretty sure ribbon was his favorite part.
