Last year we went to the Parkville Fourth of July parade, we went again this year and it was crazy to see just how different our lives are now. Last year, I was VERY pregnant, dilated and just waiting to see how much this new little guy was going to rock our world (and when in the world he'd come). This year, it's hard to remember back to just what it was like without him. Oh gosh, I'm so thankful for our life and our little man.
He loved being outside and seeing everything going on around him. Even though it was right in the middle of nap time.
He was very happy when he got the twirler, lucky for him it was the first piece of candy we got and Sissy doesn't like them. He likes the sugary teether just fine. :)
This was the first parade that we went to that Addilyn knew exactly what was going to happen and just about LOST it when we got to the parade without a candy bag. Lucky for us, our tupperware 'trash can' worked as a perfect candy bucket. Whew!
Sis was getting a little worried about the lack of candy in this parade...then she got a tootsie roll and some suckers. Still a little disappointed with her loot, but happily sugared up.
Thankful for freedom, family, and smiles on my babies.
