This was near the beginning of the storm, under our COVERED porch.
Addilyn figured out this snow day thing pretty quickly. Complete with robes, snuggle time, and movie watching. Josiah doesn't do calm or movies very well so he did lots of ball throwing and running around.
During a break in the snow, we tried to get out and play in it. It was fun to watch Addilyn try to walk in it (by this point we had about 10 inches).
Josiah didn't have as much fun not being able to move as Addilyn did. He really did love the snow, he just hated not being able to move.
They tried to sled, eventually it worked but it started snowing again and got pretty miserable so we didn't last too long.
By the end we had a little more than a foot, Derrick had fun shoveling our (and our neighbors) driveway. :)
