I thought a little finger painting would be fun for the fourth. Even had the goal of making a flag-at least for Addilyn, and maybe Josiah. Well. Josiah had some other plans. I'm still cleaning off the walls and chairs.
Addilyn did pretty good with the flag though. She was against the idea of leaving some stripes white. Why have more paint and not use it?! ;)
We headed across the state to enjoy some fourth of July fun with Grannie and Pops (and family!). I'm so grateful for time with family, even on just short trips! Both the kids loved the pool and are turning into little fish!
Addilyn also loved dressing up.
We all loved cousins being together and can't wait until August until ALL the cousins are together-we missed Lucy and Shelby!
Addilyn loved coloring with Grandmother and definitely preferred it to watching fireworks on TV. Grandmother enjoyed coloring but had to work very hard to convince Addi of the beauty of fireworks.
