We made it well over halfway with happy (sleeping) kids on our way home from Oklahoma when we decided to stop for some food and gas for the car. We tried to find somewhere Mommy could eat but definitely struck out. Oh well. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal and Derrick's parents gave me all the leftover dairy-free snacks so I didn't go hungry. ;)
As they were eating, I was telling Addilyn how when we got home it was almost time for Christmas. Her response... "You think Baby Jesus 'ike blue ice ceam?"
She even makes blue ice cream look beautiful.
