Amazed.

I am currently hiding downstairs on the computer with music up loud as my husband attempts to get Josiah to sleep (the screaming is much more than I can handle) after he went through the nighttime routine with Addilyn (which can, depending on her mood for the night, be quite lengthy.) worked late, enjoyed a family walk, and picked up the kitchen a little bit (that was last night...sometimes blogging takes awhile). Let me just tell you, this guy is amazing (don't even get me started on his laundry abilities..it takes me a week to get it all done. Him, a weekend. tops.). His energy never ceases to amaze me. His love for our kids and me is something to be admired. His love and trust of Christ should be mimicked. Because of his love and trust of Christ and His plans for our family...Derrick has always found jobs just when we need them and he has always been as calm as can be about it. While, I on the other hand, am freaking out, wondering what's going to happen, if we're going to be able to make it, how will we ever see each other blah blah blah.

So, all that to tell you, today is my husband's first day as working FULL-TIME for our church, Fellowship of Grace. He's been working full-time at an IT company, then filling in whatever hours he can with church stuff (he got paid 20 hrs a week...sometimes worked about that, a lot of times, worked much more). Now, he's working 2 days a week at the IT company (at least until they find a replacement, maybe longer...) then rest of his time is with churchy things. I'm so proud of him, of his trust in the plans of our Heavenly Father, of his work ethic, of everything. I'm trying really hard to not let the questions of how are we...blemish the happiness of today. It was a perfect day. Derrick got lots done, had meetings (is currently still in meetings/counseling sessions)and we had TONS of family time. We started the morning with a family run and play time at the park, had a good breakfast, then he worked for awhile and went to a meeting...then we got to meet for yogurtini and play time at the fountains before he worked more and the kids napped. We both just kept saying things like, "this is so great!" "I'm so happy!" "this was awesome!" We are all really happy and excited at where God has us right now, in all aspects. See ya later worries!

My husband, He works hard. He loves well. He needs lots of screens when he works.
