My girl.

this girl is amazing. she's been SO much fun to watch and enjoy lately.

She has an opinion about pretty much everything and sees things very black and white. She doesn't like 'rules' to be broken and asks about 5 million questions a day trying to figure her world out. She loves letters, coloring, dancing, learning and playing with friends. Her days are memorized by who she gets to see and where she gets to go. She loves to play 'tomb' a lot lately...when they get stuck under a blanket or something then disappear like Jesus did out of the tomb.

She's her brother's best cheerleader and was actually offended the other day that  some people dared to walk by Josiah at a restaurant and didn't say hi or talk about how cute he was! "Some people say hi to Josigh, some people don't. Why 'dey no say hi?! Dey need say hi him." She has a hard time understanding that even though he can crawl and climb she can't pull him down or tackle him yet. Poor girl just wants to play with him. Unless he touches her baby dolls. Then she does NOT want to play with him.

We tried to go get some shoes for her, she's grown out of her very favorite sandals...We went to three stores and little miss opinionated only found some she tolerated. They were $6 so we got them, I think they'll quickly become a favorite. She is opinionated about her clothing choices too. If she has an outfit in her mind of what she wants and it's dirty or she can't find it...it takes some SERIOUS convincing. She usually wants girlie things (like the outfit in this picture. I tried to get her to wear something else a little more park appropriate..."No, Mom! It cute. We can just wash it later if I get it dirty at the park." Ok..true. On it went.) or shorts. She really likes shorts lately.

She has absolutely no issue with telling kids (or in this case, a goose. He wasn't sharing the bread she was throwing with the other geese.) what she things and what they should do.

Sweet Girl, Someday you're going to wonder if you are smart enough or pretty enough or whatever. Just because all girls wonder that someday. Let me tell you kid, you are the best girl I've ever met. I love love LOVE watching you learn and grow. If you look to Jesus for what you should do and how you should be, you'll ALWAYS been smart enough, pretty enough, and good enough. I can barely wait to see His plans unfold for your life. I'm so honored to get to be a part. Your mom (and dad) will always believe in you and what you can do. We will ALWAYS be here to cheer you on, pray for you, and help you live like Jesus wants you to. I love you. Mommy
