Right before Christmas we had a snow day. I'm not sure exactly how much it snowed...3 inches? maybe more, maybe less. Usually, Addilyn loves to get out of the house, it doesn't really matter why or what for but she's always excited to go do something and asks what we are doing first thing in the morning. But the morning of the snow day was a little different though, she sat on our couch and watched cars out the window spin and struggle up our hill (one almost right into our yard!) and asked "We aren't going anywhere, right mom?!" Then quickly started telling Josiah how beautiful the snow was quickly followed by begging to go out and play in it. Josiah loved staying inside and snuggling just as much as anything.
Poor Josiah. The only snow appropriate thing we had in the house in his size was this pink snowsuit. Warmth over style buddy.
Family fun out in the snow. The kids were really excited about having to stop playing to take a picture.
Hot chocolate. Addilyn really loved the marshmallows. Josiah loved the drink. These two and their differences.
