Derrick's parents came in for a weekend of projects and birthday celebration. It was such a fun weekend!
Friday at the splash grounds. I honestly thought my mother-in-law was a little crazy bringing a second set of clothes 'just in case'. Turns out there wasn't a single other person there and the kids loved having her get soaked with them.
Then on Saturday, Daddy and Papa had a day of projects planned- our bedroom and bathroom are now a beautiful shade of grey!! Rather than desperately trying to keep the kids out of our bedroom and away from Daddy and Papa, Grandma and I decided we'd make it a zoo day. We went early and there wasn't a single crowd and we even saw far more of Africa than we ever had before with both kids! We of course had to start at the Polar Bear first.

Sunday morning Mommy and Daddy went for a date then we all met at a park where the kids showed off their bike riding and park playing skills.
