A cool fall like July morning-finding turtles, learning about Jesus, and watching the kids play.
Church at the Lake. With these girls making their own rules.
Church at the lake again: When Miss Casey started singing "Your love is pure....Your love is precious..." It's their song and it brought happy i-love-this-life tears to my eyes (and his) What a joy we have in our girl and what an amazing gift to watch their daddy daughter relationship.
Church at the lake: Praying has become one of his favorite things and my heart sang a little more. What a joyous day. Church at the lake has been one of my very favorite summer traditions since we started doing it. This year was no different.
Legos have slowly taken over our house. I love toys that they both (as well as the kids I babysit) love and make them pretend and create.
"Addi, I love you so much." -Josiah
"Josiah, I love you too. All the way to Africa and back 143 times"-Addilyn
Without any prompts or mom/dad involvement. Oh I love them and their relationship. It really is something special. They miss each other even when they are apart just for a short time-they think of one another constantly and love each other openly. They fight and argue too-but less than all the other things.
Deanna Rose Farmstead- 2012 and 2013. They were so not in the mood to take pictures this time but you still see how much bigger they are.
VBS. This year we partnered with our sponsoring church and the church we sponsored for VBS. It was pretty fun, exhausting (evening VBS is great to have enough volunteers but is SUPER rough with little kids who are completely incapable of sleeping in). But, my girl totally got into it and still sings the songs a week later.
Ok. Maybe not my favorite thing but it's life now. He's a total disaster with food lately. Whew. I left for 5 seconds.
Farmer's Market Breakfast.
