A little drama

Remember the last picture in the post before this one? The ride to find small pumpkins for the train ride home? Well... It didn't end too well. Josiah tried to do some fancy moves like big sis to get off the tractor and ended up falling which resulted in a toddler fracture of the tibia. We missed the train the next day and got some xrays instead. See where his bandaid is? Before we went to get X-rays-he kept screaming "My weg hurt! I need band-aid! Owww!! My weg hurts." We went cast free hoping it would heal very quickly- but a week later-

He was still miserable. So, off to urgent care we went to get more xrays and talk to another doctor. They decided since he hadn't healed in a week and was still in intense pain, he needed a walking boot for a few weeks to help ease the pain and give the leg enough support so that it can heal. Below is an hour by hour picture collage of our time in the urgent care. We were there 5 hours and then he fell asleep on the way home. He spiked a fever while we were there so it was extra miserable. Oh, and my Grandmother passed away the day before. Notice my red eyes. It wasn't a very good day.

He can make the poor pitiful look of the walking boot pretty cute.
