So, the 10th kind of passed me up this month. Here are 10 pictures from the last week or two. ;)
We decided last Saturday (the 10th actually!) That we'd move our house around. We were feeling like we've run out of space in our house and while it's not a very big house, it should have PLENTY of space for our family of four, and more if we add to our family. But, to feel like that, we (mom and dad) needed a space of our own, Derrick needed office space to actually work since he does at least 85% of his work from home, and our kids needed their own space to play where toys STAYED and I didn't feel like needed to be cleaned up every two minutes (like that run on sentence?). So, after an offhanded comment about 'someday we should..' we started dreaming and called Candace and Justin (they are much better dreamers/changers than we are) and decided to go for it. We LOVE it.
It's changed a little since this picture and will continue to change until our wardrobe/closet thing gets here. But, it's pretty great so far.
While we were moving things around, the kids skyped with Grandma and Papa and Grannie, Pops and the whole crew at their house.
The play room. It needs some more organization and purging before it's done but it's good so far.
Addilyn's had quite the imagination lately. She wants to play pretend all.day.long. We have a hard time getting her out of the pretend world sometimes for example,
Addilyn. You need to pick those dolls up.
No, Mom! Those are my honey's. They are sleeping. And, I'm the Mommy. Mommy's don't pick up.
Don't worry. She put them to bed (picked them up) in a better location. But, on this particular day, she was the Mommy having a date with her husband. She figured out if she was the 'mommy' she could call Derrick by his first name or babe.
Josiah's been sick with an ear infection. I hate ear infections.
She's VERY info writing her letters lately. And, if you can tell, changing my I to the way she likes it.
Cinnamon Sugar toast is so good it needs to be licked off the plate, apparently.
Like her style? 80's here she comes.
I've been in bed most the week thanks to this. Thankfully, I'm doing much much better!!
